current (refer to specifications). This general purpose power supply has a wide range of applications for access control,
security and CCTV system accessories that require additional power (refer to Voltage Output/Transformer
Selection Table).

1. Mount the SMP10 in desired location/enclosure.
2. Connect proper transformer to terminals marked [AC] (refer to Voltage Output/Transformer Selection Table).
Use18AWGorlargerforallpowerconnections(Battery,DCoutput).
3. SettheSMP10tothedesiredDCoutputvoltagesettingtheswitchestotheappropriatepositions
(refer to Voltage Output/Transformer Selection Table).
4. Measureoutputvoltagebeforeconnectingdevices.Thishelpsavoidpotentialdamage.
5. Connectdevicestobepoweredtoterminalsmarked[+DC-] (Fig. 1).
6. Whentheuseofstand-bybatteriesaredesired,theymustbelead
acidorgeltype.Connectbatterytoterminalsmarked[+BAT-](batteryleadsincluded).
Usetwo(2)12VDCbatteriesconnectedinseriesfor24VDCoperation.
7. WhenbatteriesarenotusedalossofACwillresultinthelossofoutputvoltage.
